The world wants you and your children to be just like it. To accomplish that it will show you things God forbids over and over again until they feel normal. It will attack from all angles, through every available avenue, relentlessly. One avenue the world finds particularly useful is through technology – especially through our internet connected devices.
To be able to use these devices and live righteously, we must develop an active defense against temptation for ourselves and our families.
For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield

We cannot depend on any single point of protection, a defense in depth is necessary. This section will provide you with tools for building your family’s defenses with a deliberate strategy. Our defense in depth will have six strongpoints:
The most important thing to notice is that only one of these defenses involves technology. To believe that the answer to the challenges technology brings is to apply more technology is foolish. We will apply several technological tools in our defense, but there is no magic software to install or switch to flip to keep our families from being tested. Our real defense is God.
