This section is to help parents with managing their families’ use of technology. When we think of our children and technology we typically think of cell phones and the internet, but we are faced with all kinds of technology today, from the way we work to the way we play.

The key to protecting our families as they use technology will be teaching them to make choices with the mind of Christ.

And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be peace of thy children.

Isaiah 54:13

The world has created a dividing line between adults and children – there are certain things that are forbidden to children, but allowed to adults. This is reasonable and correct, there are many things that children are not mature enough to do, or make decisions about, or that are physically dangerous for them. But if we look closely at many of the things the world restricts for children, we often see that they aren’t things that are good for adults either.

One of the most important things for us to remember is that we lead by example. If something isn’t fit for my children to see or do, is it something I should see or do?
